Better than silver bullion

Morgan silver dollars are the most popular and widely collected of all U.S. silver coins. Minted between 1878 and 1904, and again in 1921, Morgan dollars are avidly sought by investors worldwide for their high silver content, superb minting, and potential leverage to the silver market. In Brilliant Uncirculated condition, they offer all the investment advantages of silver bullion plus the added profit potential of scarce collectible coins.

True scarcity

Although Morgan silver dollars were minted in large quantities, very few survive today. As result of the Pittman Act of 1918, nearly 270 million Morgan dollars were melted down into silver bars for export, and further melting occurred in the 1960s and 1980s when silver prices skyrocketed. Only about 17% of the total number of Morgan silver dollars minted have survived, and only a tiny fraction of those in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, making them truly scarce. Modern bullion coins like American Silver Eagles, however, are produced in virtually unlimited quantities each year and offer no possible premium for scarcity. When the market heats up, classic silver coins can appreciate more than their underlying silver value.

Today, Morgan dollars in Brilliant Uncirculated condition are one of the smartest ways to invest in bulk silver. In rolls of twenty, BU Morgan dollars offer true scarcity and greater leverage to the silver market than bullion coins, but for very little additional cost.

Key Benefits
Better than bullion. Combines low prices and relatively low risk with stronger upside potential than bullion.
True scarcity Morgan silver dollars survive in extremely limited numbers. This true scarcity can mean extra leverage to a rising silver price.
Private, liquid, and secure. Unlike most bullion coins, as scarce collectible coins they are exempt from broker reporting and government confiscation. Plus, they offer instant worldwide liquidity.
